Bulgaria Missions
The Scott's
James and Nikki and their family have been serving in the country of Bulgaria for about 17 years. Over the years they have been honored to serve Jesus and his church in a number of different ways. They helped start and continue to participate in the first Foursquare summer youth camp in Bulgaria. They have helped in training and equipping many of the nation’s Gypsy pastors and youth leaders. They have also been involved in working with orphans, in helping young women transition out of institutional life into healthy adult independence.
Over the last 6 years their focus has been discipling young believers through a church plant in the city of Plovdiv.
"We started with a couple of college students and now have a group of about 30 young men and women (and a handful of kidos) that we meet with regularly as we work on shaping the next generation of Jesus followers to serve Him as He brings His kingdom to earth.
We are excited to see these young people grow and mature and look forward to the things that Jesus has planned for them and the nation of Bulgaria in the years to come."
